A Future Prospect :: Vigna Family

The much anticipated collection from Magis is almost here. Designed by Martino Gamper the metal Vigna Family. Like a climbing plant the wire swirl creates a structural feature which supports the chair legs. The seat is in bi-injection-moulded plastic, a technology allowing to obtain a seat pattern in many combinations of double colors.

Hey Irene, keep running north and don't look back. You were supposed to be some big bad wet wolf wanting to huff and puff til all our houses & beautiful restaurants fell down. Well, sorry honey, we're tougher than you thought. Ok, sure, you did manage to flood some towns and knock the power out of a few million homes. But overall we stood strong and were well prepared. And just in case any of your brothers, sisters, father, or mother decide to give the east coast another duel, you tell them, warn them rather that we have the goods to stand our ground and our chairs don't break! Sure you might be able to twirl them around a little, but that's all. Just check at the video below of the gossip chair, he can do the same thing you do only better.

Martino Gamper, designer of the new Vigna collection for Magis, has delivered his latest en devour. An exhibition, Condominium, inspired by the 50's -70's middle class living in Turin. These objects that were often featured in middle class homes were customized furniture, made to fit the individual and the house.

Hyper-personalized objects fill the Fetta di Polenta, where every floor represents another family.
