Speakerdog Series 6 is Here to Play

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Ben the Illustrator has brought us Speakerdog Series 6, 66 paper toys created by 64 artists around the globe. If these were life-size I would definitely be living in one of these... hmmm maybe Ikea will one day invent a mobile version for families, until that day comes, I’m happy to download, print, and fold together.

555 KUBIK Architectural Facade Projection

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Ok, this is truly amazing, a must share visual eye candy from 555 Kubik. The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture - the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers "Galerie der Gegenwart". Resultant permeability of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves - describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself.

Turn up the volume and get seduced with the sound.

Sazon NYC

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

We recently did an installation for the lounge and restaurant Sazon, (Just to let you know, I am currently licking my fingers on my left hand as I’m writing this using my right index finger to type, so don’t mind the spelling mistakes). It's a fusion of the senses (design sense that is) using Chair First as the seating solution and The Bistrot base and wood top as the put the plate down and dive into your conch fritters solution.

LEGO is more in fashion now than ever before we see them used as fashion accessories and now in architecture and city planning. Urban planner and artist, James Rojas, will unveil one of his interactive city models at Fifth Floor in LA’s Chinatown district. Visitors will be able to take buildings from off of shelves and place them on the model located in the middle of the gallery to create their own ideal urban form. The model will change as it builds upon the contribution of others.
